Mission:
“Golden Willow Retreat is a non-profit organization that promotes healthy grieving by empowering people impacted by all forms of loss through therapeutic programming and professional development.”
Vision:
“A world where grief is considered a normal, natural and healthy part of life and loss.”
Golden Willow Honors ALL forms of Grief
Our promise at Golden Willow Retreat is to honor one’s individual pathway as each person strives for balance and a higher quality of life. Our counselors and therapists are highly trained in various modalities that support the client in their path of healing and recovery.
Personalized programs are our cornerstone for the individual or family recovery process. If you, or your family are experiencing the changing winds of death, divorce, health issues, addiction or any other life transition, our staff is ready to help you navigate these challenging chapters of your life with onsite support, continuing care and relapse prevention methods, tools and philosophies. Our personalized programs are designed to meet your specific needs.
We at Golden Willow Retreat, view ceremony as an honoring of movement through life. The ceremony of beginnings and endings, birth and death are familiar. Very seldom are life events black and white. Sometimes life transitions are confusing as an ending is a new beginning or a new beginning involves ending. Through ceremony we recognize the importance of where you are and where you are going. At Golden Willow Retreat, we honor all spiritual paths, allowing for various ceremonies for the many stages in the cycles of life – Endings, New Beginnings, Rites of Passage, Milestones, Releasing (letting go of the past) and Healing. These honoring rituals and ceremonies enable us to continue on with our healing process showing respect to the past while moving forward into the future.
